MARCH 16 HOA MEETING

Meeting started at 3:06pm.

2024 Invoices have been emailed and/or mailed out. Total Amount in Bank is $49,777.55. $31,087 in our operating expense account. Expense account is much better compared to last year where our balance was $21,860 in operating account on 10/6/2023. This has been due to landscaping cuts, getting people off liens and most importantly your faith in us to get this done.

$18,400 in our pool resurfacing account. We are on track for end of the year completion. As of 3/11/2024 $18,400 out of $27,325 has been raised (66% of our goal and over 100% of our projected goal for last year).

Pinestraw is coming and back to professional landscaping.

We will be checking on requests for clearing overgrown trees by kudzu bush and front entrance.

Pool season will be from May 23 to September 8. Pool hours will be from 9am - 10pm. 

We discussed drainage issues down at the pool parking lot. We will check with the landscaper to see if that is something he can assist with.

When trash service is started back up, we are going to look into getting a second can, we will ask again about possible discounts they can offer us. Last year, we had to have at least 80% neighborhood participation and not sure we met that goal.

We have noticed and had several complaints about dogs off leashes. It is Georgia law that your dog must be on a leash if not in a fenced area. Please make sure you have your pets leashed at all times if out walking and/or if your pet is joining you to check mail or getting something out of your car.

Before the meeting, we sent out emails requesting someone to step up to take over the Treasurer or President position. Jerome Conner is the only one who volunteered and said he would like to take over the Treasurer position. We are also open to others who may want to step in for any other position as a couple of us have been on the board for 2+ years. We do need to vote on new board member(s) as a neighborhood. We will set our next meeting for May 4 @ 3pm, which will be a voting meeting to vote in Jerome and/or or whoever else. Meetings are typically very short and really need/want everyone's input and participation.
